Morocco’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated in the Kingdom on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Following the official sighting of the lunar crescent on Sunday evening, May 17, the Ministry confirmed that the first day of the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH corresponds to Monday, May 18, 2026. Consequently, the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, marking the festival of sacrifice, falls on Wednesday, May 27. This official declaration enables families, administrations, and businesses to plan ahead for the major holiday.
